Hey sexy raw people!!

So I was just seeking out recommendations on Juicers, I love green smoothies but I understand juicing gets all the goodness into your body quicker and at higher density...

Also Im interested in what you lot eat on an average day... I am trying to maintain my weight between 124 and 130 lbs, and after being obese for as long as I can remember its obviously a concern of mine not to get heavy again...

I am still transitioning but I keep craving things like bread and sweet cakes - these were always my comfort food before and while I want to break my emotional attachment to food I wanted to know what you lot turn to when you need something treat-wise...

Im also interested in meeting and talking to like minded people as my friends and family are mainly carnivores with little compassion for living things. (which makes me question how I have the beliefs I do, clearly nature won over nurture...)

Soo yeah, if you're ever in and around London, show some love!!

Ciou for now,

Libby.xxxx

Hi Libby, welcome, going raw doesnt mean going without treats. Obviously if you are trying to lose weight then you would need to be more careful but alot of people on a raw diet find they can eat what they like within reason and not worry too much about their weight. I love making raw cakes and made a delicious double chocolate raspberry cake for our last pot luck, if I can work out how to add pictures here I will send you a picture. I also love making breads and crackers too. When I have left over almond pulp from making almond milk, I often make cacao and coconut balls with it which are delicious. By the way, as you are in London have you tried a meal at Saf? They are a vegetarian restaurant which also does a raw food menu. The food is fabulous, not cheap, but such an inspiration. Have fun and I hope you find some treats that you like.

Kyle is allways organising something events, and if you can get to Brighton he has a raw cafe Manna where he often holds events

its taken me two years to get bread out of my life and i still laps about once a week/month, dont be so hard on yourself, praise the days you did manage to be good instead of thinking on the days you werent, we manifest what we think the most about.
