Hi,

I started my high raw diet almost a month a go so I'm still pretty new. I was wondering what your fave raw meal or ingrediant combinations were...so newbies might find some interesting ideas especially if it's easily available to them.

My favourite meal is raw houmous with veggie crudites. And raw guacamole is good.

I just get my medjool dates from Tesco, though they are dried but I think fresh would be too expensive. You could always rehydrate them a bit.

Pickled mangos sound interesting, will keep an eye out for them!

Love medjool dates......natures candy :)

Great thread......Hmmmmm lets see, I could eat fruits all day. Love mango's, strawberries, pineapples, apples......well any fruit really lol. Chemimoya's are scrummy too as they taste like strawberry yogurt but I get annoyed with all the pips.

Love my greens to and big leafy salads are a daily staple and guacamole is a big fav as well.

When I first started with raw food I would make a choccy pudding from avocado, raw honey and carob or cacao powder. 7 years on and I still eat it often :)

All this talk of food is making me hungry so off to get breakfast sorted.......

Chemimoys'a sound interesting. Not tried them before. Where do you buy them?

Hi Michelle,

We are touring around Southern Europe for a few years and so they are really easy to come by here. Not sure if I have ever seen them in the UK, anyway they look like this

and have the texture of set yoghurt and taste like strawberries. Very nice :)

Looking for suggestions for rhubarb if anyone has any? Tried a raw compote last year with them..wasn't too keen though.
