I will quite happily have fruit, sprouted buckwheat, etc for breakfast; I can live on smoothies and green juice all day......................then it's gets to 'tea-time' and I lose the plot

Tonight I didn't have much in and ate a load of tomatoes and some carrots and apples - then caved in and had a veggie sausage sandwich, which I don't think I have eaten in 3 years!

I'm not all that good with food; I used to live on vegetarian meals - all steamed veg and nut roast, bean stew, very simple; I don't like complex things. Alot of me still craves that food, yet I know I don't feel so good when I eat like that.

I look at a lot of recipes, but they just don't appeal - especially the nut based things, I can't digest that stuff and the thought of it alone makes me feel ill.

I need a class, ideally, when some money rolls in. In the meantime, can someone inspire me with something simple? Or maybe just write down what you ate so I can get an overview of what a raw food-in-the-UK evening looks like.

Thanks

i find if i get high nutrition in me i dont cave in so much, i also find i dont want anything in the evening. though the other day i fell asleep on the settee and when i woke up i delved into hubbies chocolate, but had i had a raw cake there then i would have had that.

im finding theres a lot of websites popping up now with ready prepared raw food like vivapure on the add to the right - >

i love the Flat Bread and am using them as a kind of wrap.

i think the thing is dont be hard on yourself, if your good all day, have emergency stuff in the cupboards or something you can wiz up quickly

i have been introducing raw now for 18 months and feel the last few weeks have been great, it may not last but ill still keep eating more raw than i ever did before so im heading in the right direction.

let it evolve rather than force it.

by teh way in the last two weeks i have had only one bag of crisps, for me thats cause for celebration :D
Thanks Susan
I'm with you on the crisps! I was a big crisp eater and now thanks to all the lovely minerals I am getting I don't want them at all. I also find that the fat, even in the 'posh' ones, tastes absolutely dreadful; something I didn't notice before eating raw.

My evening eating has gone way down too. I never crave sweet things, which I seemed to after every meal before: I am finding that if I go back to eating carbs like rice, noodles, spuds, that is when i want sweet stuff

It's all good and I am not trying to be a perfect raw fooder, but the more the merrier 'more raw, more of the time' is my simple mantra.

I love the raw flat bread idea and there is certainly a lot more choice now......however, money's too tight to mention (am working on abundance issues right now!!) and it prevents me from stocking up on those ready made goodies. I tried an 'energy soup' or blended salad' for the first time this week, and quite liked it........once I had smothered it in pepper :-)

I am going through a huge amount of change and I think sometimes how much raw you can do depends on your emotional state; at the moment more bread is creeping in as I need more grounding and am working through very old stuff and bread was always a staple growing up. I think perhaps it evolves as we evolve emotionally. It's like learning to live at a new frequency and every part of you needs time to adjust to that.

Cooked Food!!!

I went Raw for 4 days, then had a Deit Coke!!

I so hate myself!!
