Am thinking of buying a masticating juicer ,Any one know if the samsung is good , for wheatgrass and nut butters. Its a bit cheaper than others.Have got a manuel juicer for wheatgrass at mo .It takes a lot of wheatgrass for little juice ,pulp is quite wet.Has been good for a while but ready to upgrade.Love green apple and parsley juice at mo Anna

Knowing which way to go is a bit tricky! I dont wat to spend the 3 -4 hundred bracket ,but somtime it is a false economy when you use something a lot as cheaper models wear out quickly.Iguess there is good and bad points to all. Have come across a LEXUN juicer which retails at 145 any one used one .James how do you find your green star . On subject of cravings found som god sites by just tapping in "cravings on raw food" -celery is good for salt cravings.

omg! having fun ! Invested in the oscar. It seems to do pretty much everything and came with a 20 year warranty which pretty much swung it for me .Am waiting for first batch of wheatgrass to try .Have done couple of green juices -how much should you drink. Am a bit confused about sugar content of juices.Should you have juices on top of meals or instead of .Also has any one got a good recipe for nut butter /tahini.

Hello :) I took the plunge and made my first green 'lemonade' juice today (spinach from the garden, cucumber, broccoli, apple and lemon) It was surprisingly (for me!) absolutely delicious :) One question I hope you can help with, do you use the leftover pulp for anything in particular? I was going to give it to my eagerly waiting dogs who sit so prettily in anticipation every time they hear the juicer start up, but on tasting it, I thought it was probably too good for them! (I did succumb and give them a small amount; I am not that mean ;)
I thought I would use it to help fill a nori roll for lunch but any suggestions much appreciated :)
Also, just to give a quick review of my single auger Matstone juicer for anyone out there who is considering options. I have had mine for about 4 years now, although mainly used for fruit juices up until now, it makes easy work of leafy greens and wheatgrass. Downside is that it is quite noisy (I saw the Oscar on ideal world the other day, and it is sooo quiet in comparison but also about twice the price) and the juicing screen can take a bit of patience to clean, but overall it does the job very well :) Hope this if of help.

Hi everyone,  I've just joined juice and I am making it public right now that I am starting my juice detox on Monday.  I hope to lose a lot of weight as I am about 5 stone overweight at the moment and feel AWFUL!    I have aches and pains all over, feel depressed and have no energy at all.    Can anyone give me any hints and encouragement?   Has anyone else lost a lot of weight raw food/juicing?   I will post a new photo of me approx every 4 weeks to (hopefully!) show how well I am doing.  Anyone want to join me?    Christine xxx
