We are a new group trying to garner support for raw foods here in the North East of England. We plan to have pot luck lunches on the second sunday of the month. Come along and check us out.

We now have a lovely new venue, the Quaker meeting house at Sunderland, and will also be meeting at Newcastle once a month on Tuesday evenings. See events page or our Facebook page for more details

Just Joined, hi all.

I live in Washington, near Sunderland.

Been raw for 2 months or just over. Just almost did the 10 day cleanse, juicing and watering my days away. I made it to 9, so not all bad i feel. Got a bit dizzy today so i ate some carrots and houmous. Been craving those all week. Surprisingly never got hungry though. Result :)

Happy to make likeminded friends, cant wait to share and learn.

Hi Steven, it would be lovely to see you at the pot luck lunch tomorrow, Sunday 12 Feb.  It is at the Quaker Meeting House, 30 Roker Park Road, Sunderland, SR6 9PG.  We meet about 12.30 for a 1pm shared lunch. There is a £1.50 charge for the room rental.  Children welcome.  Come along and say Hello.  Bring a raw vegan dish to share and get stuck in.  I wont be there this month as I am still in Dahab, Egypt, raw food cheffing for a lady with Type 1 Diabetes.  You will be made very welcome and it is so good to have new people come along and share their experiences with us.

I'm sorry i didnt reply to those replies earlier, not sure how i missed them but still.

I spoke with Madeleine online the other day, was great to talk.

I cant make the March pot luck but i do plan to be there for the April 8th date. Already have it marked up in the diary :)
