Hi,
Its a bit bizarre really as I have been searching the web for somewhere with the right feel for writing about what interests me.
Wordpress? Yes, its a great but to be honest I find all of the side-bar apps, widgets (options) just a little more than very distracting. I am not really one to worry about whether my guests have something else to entertain them or will click a link to my favourite product. I am more concerned with learning to capture peoples interest. Learning to express my thoughts in such a way that people will want to come back to see if I have thought some more.
Blogger, Wordpress, Netblog, I'm sorry, but you're all time distracting options. I guess that I could just choose not to play with the options and get on with the writing but that's where the feel bit comes in. Before you go off thinking of all the possible search optimisation that I could be missing out on, NOT BOTHERED ABOUT THAT EITHER. You see, I look at it like this, Do I really want to expose my blog to people that will not find it interesting, NO. Without playing around with keywords and the like it has got to be down to pure content value.
Now, am I possibly setting my goal to high? who knows, but I see so many that are trying as hard to generate traffic as they do to write a good post. Is it wrong to want to be popular enough that my readers become re-readers and sharers?
Well, that's about all for now. I would just like to finish off by saying a big thank you to James the administrator for UK Raw Food Network. This is a great site, full of helpful info and people and o top it off he has created the best feeling blog space that I have found.
Thanks James.
Keith
